This system is capable of a full range of complex analysis for functional gear testing including tests for run out, deflection, and movement. Meshing is also a test parameter, mating a work gear with a precision master gear, and evaluating the resulting changes in the gears or the change in their center distance to determine if the work gear meets set performance standards. This machinery allows customers to produce parts to the required quality and maintain process control.
