Kokusai is pleased to offer one of our latest releases to the industry, our newly redesigned combination wheel gauging and balancing machine. This new system is equipped with sensors that detect the wheel and locate the angle of the valve hole, reporting all aspects of balance and uniformity with respect to the valve hole. The effect of the tire pressure monitor (TPM) can also be calculated and reported in the final results. Radial and lateral run out, as well as dynamic and static balance, is measured with this tester. This exciting innovation applies to wheels in passenger and light trucking, as well as heavy duty applications.
All processes with this combination machine take less than 10 seconds per station, utilizing a method wherein the part is moved to different stations for each measurement, ultimately being rejected and discarded, or accepted to continue through the manufacturing process. Wheels are marked with various methods to record findings, including engraving and painting. The system is available without balancing, which can easily be added at a later point.
